IHC rejects plea seeking removal of Chairman CDA

Court imposed fine of Rs50,000 on the plaintiff

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected plea seeking removal of Chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed.

Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, while announcing the verdict imposed a fine of Rs50,000 on the plaintiff for wasting time of court.

The court has said that CDA Chairman issued show cause notice over misconduct to the officer, who in turn challenged the appointment of the chairman.

IHC also directed to cut the fine imposed by the court from salary of the plaintiff.
