Opposition has lost its track: Sh Rashid

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Friday has said that fragile opposition has lost its track. In a statement, the minister said that the democracy didn’t get respect by the rumpus that was erupted during in consecutive three sessions of the National Assembly. The opposition had predicted dissolution of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in December 2020, he added.

Sheikh Rashid further reiterated that the incumbent government will complete its five years under the premiership of Imran Khan.

He said that peace and security is vital to attract investment in the country, adding our mission is to eliminate crimes in Islamabad and make it a drug-free city.

The interior minister said law is equal for all and no one should be above the law. He said his ministry is going to issue e-passports and the visa facility has also been made online.

In response to a question, he said whatever happened in the Parliament House has caused damage to democracy.
