PSL-6: Peshawar Zalmi set 167-run target for Multan Sultans

ABU DHABI (Dunya News) – Peshawar Zalmi have set 167 runs target for Multan Sultans in the 21st match of sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
Peshawar Zalmi were off to flying start after put in to bat first by Multan Sultans skipper Muhammad Rizwan. Openers Kamran Akmal and Haider Ali added 71 runs for the first wicket stand before Shahnawaz Dhani removed Akmal who made 35 runs.
Shahnawaz Dhani claimed the wicket of Shoib Malik on the next ball but David Miller denied him the hat-trick. In his next over, Shahnawaz Dhani got the wicket of Haider Ali who departed after scoring 28 runs and then claimed the wicket of Rovman Powell.
David Miller and Sherfane Rutherford added 29 runs for fifth wicket partnership before Miller got out after scoring 22 runs. Rutherford at the other end continued to smash Multan Sultans bowlers and made 54 runs off 40 ball with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes.
For Multan Sultans, Shahnawaz Dhani was pick of the bowlers getting four wickets for 31 runs. Blessing Muzarabani claimed one wicket.
