PAF JF17 Thunder aircraft escort aircraft of President of Tajikistan

It is PAF’s unique tradition of honouring the visiting heads of states of the friendly countries.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A formation of JF-17 Thunder aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) presented ceremonial air escort to the aircraft of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon when it entered the Pakistan airspace.
JF-17 formation leader extended greetings to the President of Tajikistan. H.E. Mr Emomali Rahmon reciprocated the gesture by thanking the JF-17 formation leader.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is PAF’s unique tradition of honouring the visiting heads of states of the friendly countries whenever they are on their official visits to Pakistan.
President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon reached Islamabad on a two-day official visit on Wednesday. Federal Minister for Industries and Production Khusro Bakhtiyar received President Rahmon at Nur Khan Airbase. The Tajik president is accompanied by a high-level delegation.
A formal welcome ceremony in honour of President Rahmon was held at the PM House in Islamabad where Prime Minister Imran Khan received the visiting head of state.
