Blaze at cotton factory in Multan still rages on

Rescue sources said that it may take another 24 hours to bring the fire under control.
MULTAN (Dunya News) - The fire that erupted in a cotton factory situated at the Kanewal Road on Satursday is still raging on after more than 35 hours as fire tenders failed in their attempts to douse it, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to sources, rescue teams from four districts and civil aviation teams have completely failed to contain the fire. Rescue sources said that the fire has spread to other warehouses of the factory.
The surrounding residential areas of the factory have also been evacuated due to intensity of the blaze. Rescue sources said that it may take another 24 hours to bring the fire under control.
