Dr. Faisal Sultan pays emergency visit to hospitals

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan Monday paid emergency visit to hospitals to inspect medical facilities including the coronavirus vaccine.
The SAPM also visited the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). Dr. Faisal Sultan said it is our religious and moral duty to serve humanity.
On the other hand, Pakistan reported 57 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 903,599. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 20,308.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,060 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 9,784 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,920 in Sindh, 3,950 in KP, 745 in Islamabad, 532 in Azad Kashmir, 270 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.
Furthermore 334,760 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 309,647 in Sindh, 129,883 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 80,418 in Islamabad, 24,583 in Balochistan, 18,808 in Azad Kashmir and 5,500 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 12,837,818 coronavirus tests and 58,670 in the last 24 hours. 820,374 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,763 patients are in critical condition.
