Pakistan reports 3,232 coronavirus cases, 74 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,480,767 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 74 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 880,362. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 19,617 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,232 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Province-wise Details

Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 9,411 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,801 in Sindh, 3,786 in KP, 731 in Islamabad, 514 in Azad Kashmir, 267 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 327,362 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 299,194 in Sindh, 127,038 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 79,221 in Islamabad, 23,866 in Balochistan, 18,258 in Azad Kashmir and 5,423 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Tests and Recoveries

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,480,767 coronavirus tests and 36,725 in the last 24 hours. 792,522 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,443 patients are in critical condition.
