Pakistan reports 3,265 coronavirus cases, 126 deaths in 24 hours
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan has reported 126 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 870,703. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 19,336 on Thursday. According to the latest figures issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 3,265 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Province-wise Details
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 323,314 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 295,483 in Sindh, 125,914in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 78,725 in Islamabad, 23,728 in Balochistan, 18,129 in Azad Kashmir and 5,410 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Tests and Recoveries
Pakistan has so far conducted 12,349,976 coronavirus tests and 39,101 in the last 24 hours. 776,315 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,567patients are in critical condition.
