Six-year-old boy dies of rabies in Karachi

Six-year-old Shahzad was brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in critical condition.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - A six-year-old boy, who was admitted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in a critical condition after developing full-blown rabies, died on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.

Six-year-old Shahzad, resident of Moro area in Sindh province was bitten by a stray dog and was brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in critical condition.

According to executive director of the JPMC Dr Seemin Jamali, six-year-old Shahzad died of rabies at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre during treatment.
