Zimbabwe bat after Pakistan take 250-run lead in first Test

HARARE (Dunya News) – Zimbabwe scored 36 runs without losing any wicket at Lunch on day three of the first Test match after Pakistan took a first innings lead of 250 runs at the Harare Sports Club.
Openers Kevin Kasuza and Tarisai Musakanda were unbeaten on 21 and 14 respectively. Kasuza was dropped at second slip by Imran Butt off Shaheen Shah Afridi when he was on 15.
Earlier, Pakistan were bowled out for 426 after resuming the day at 374-6. The Green Caps added 52 runs as paceman Blessing Muzarabani dismissed Hasan Ali and Nauman Ali off successive deliveries before getting the wicket of Fawad Alam for 140. Muzarabani finished with figures of 4-73.
Zimbabwe were bundled out for 176 in their first innings.
Pakistan handed a Test debut to off-spinner Sajid Khan while Zimbabwe included Milton Shumba, Roy Kaia and Richard Ngarava for their first Tests.
The second Test will also be played in Harare from May 7.
