Pakistan to reduce 80 percent inbound flights from May 4

According to sources, the restrictions will remain imposed till May 20.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has decided to reduce 80 inbound flights from May 4 to curb the surge of third wave of COVID-19 in the country, Dunya News reported.

According to sources, the restrictions will remain imposed till May 20 while the current sanctions plan will be reviewed on May 18.

All the international travelers coming to Pakistan will require to produces a mandatory negative COVID-19 PCR test that has to be taken within 72 hours of the travel date.

Sources further said that the PCR test will be done again at the airport on arrival in Pakistan. If the test is negative, then the travelers would be quarantine for ten days.
