Lasbela: 14 people injured in grenade attack during football match
LASBELA (Dunya News) - 14 people were injured on Tuesday due to a grenade blast during a football match in Lasbela. The incident happened during the final match of the Shuhada-e-Police Football Tournament.
As soon as the terrorist incident was reported, security forces and law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.
Rescue teams shifted the injured to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital where they are being treated while bomb disposal officials have started gathering evidence and compiling a preliminary report.
Provincial Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langu strongly condemned the bomb blast, saying it was a failed conspiracy to disrupt peace in Balochistan.
He said that targeting innocent people was an act against humanity, the enemy would not be able to gain anything by such cowardly attacks.
Mir Ziaullah Lango has directed that the elements involved in this act of terror be brought to justice while immediate medical facilities should be provided to those injured in the blast.
