Actions of NAB are not in national interest: Shahid Khaqan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was established to suppress opposition.
Talking to media persons, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that political system in the country is being pressurized. He also denounced rumors of split in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and said that the opposition alliance is intact and will remain so.
The former prime minister further said that actions of the NAB are not in national interest and asked why proceeding of the court are not being telecasted.
Criticizing government policies, the PML-N leader said that inflation and unemployment are rising in the country while government is fighting coronavirus with help of donations. Not a single country has not allowed commercial import of the vaccine but Pakistan’s government has allowed private sector to purchase the jabs, he added.
