10-year-old house maid tortured in Lahore
LAHORE (Dunya News) - A 10-year-old house maid was allegedly tortured in Wahdat Colony area of Lahore. The Child Protection Bureau took the victim into custody.
According to the details, Saba, a 10-year-old house maid on Wahdat Road in Lahore, was allegedly assaulted by employer. Police taking immediate action took Saba to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said that the girl’s medical treatment has been completed, the report will be given to the girl s parents after which the case will be registered.
Saba, 10, said that she had been tortured for three days. She had been working in the house for a year and a half and was paid a monthly salary of Rs 5,000.
