Pakistan reports 1,714 new coronavirus cases, 38 deaths

Pakistan has so far conducted 9,173,593 coronavirus tests.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 38 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 588,728. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 13,166 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,714 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Province-wise Details
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
Till now 259,392 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 175,964 in Punjab 73,515 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 45,329 in Islamabad, 19,106 in Balochistan, 10,464 in Azad Kashmir and 4,958 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 5,534 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,411 in Sindh, 2,104 in KP, 506 in Islamabad, 309 in Azad Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.
Tests and Recoveries
Pakistan has so far conducted 9,173,593 coronavirus tests and 38,200 in the last 24 hours. 558,210 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,545 patients are in critical condition.
