Pakistan reports 1,392 new coronavirus cases, 36 deaths

Pakistan has so far conducted 8,990,176 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 36 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 581,365. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 12,896 on Monday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,392 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Province-wise Details

Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Till now 258,266 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 172,054 in Punjab 72,424 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 44,373 in Islamabad, 19,049 in Balochistan, 10,243 in Azad Kashmir and 4,956 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 5,363 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,350 in Sindh, 2,079 in KP, 501 in Islamabad, 301 in Azad Kashmir, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in GB.

Tests and Recoveries

Pakistan has so far conducted 8,990,176 coronavirus tests and 38,338 in the last 24 hours. 546,371 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,568 patients are in critical condition.
