Gold price increases Rs 400 to Rs 110,750 per tola

The gold price in the in international market witnessed increase of $14

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs 400 on Monday and was sold at Rs 110,750 against sale at Rs 110,350, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.

The price of ten gram 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 343 and was traded at Rs 94,950 against Rs 94,607 while that of ten gram 22 karat gold was sold at Rs 87,038.

The price of per tola silver increased by Rs 20 and was traded at Rs 1400 against its sale at Rs 1380 whereas that of and ten gram silver increased by Rs 12.15 and was traded at Rs 1200.27 against Rs1188.12.

The gold price in the in international market witnessed increase of $14 and was sold at $1798 against its sale at $1784, the association added.

Jewellery exports increased

Meanwhile, Jewellery exports during first seven months of FY 2020-21 grew by 107.21 per cent as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of last year.

During the period from July 20-Jan 21, Jewellery worth US$ 5,833 exported as compared to worth US$ 2,815 of same period of last year.

According the data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the exports of Gems increased by 25.

14 per cent, worth US$ 4,027 were exported as compared to the exports of US$ 3,218 of same period of last year.

Meanwhile, Handicrafts exports increased by 100 percent, worth US$ 5 were also exported in current financial year as compared to the exports of valuing Nil of same period of last year.

During the period under view Guar and Guar products decreased by 0.20 per cent, worth US$ 20,117 were exported as compared to the exports of US$ 20,158 thousand of same period of last year.
