Open voting only way to eliminate horse trading in Senate polls: PM

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Monday has said that open voting is the only way to eliminate horse trading during the elections in Senate, the upper house of the Parliament.
The premier held meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader and Adviser Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan in Islamabad and discussed strategy for Senate polls.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM said those trying to hijack the Senate elections are non-democratic elements.
It is to be mentioned here that the premier is scheduled to visit Peshawar today where he will be presented report on the defeat of PTI in PK-63 by-elections.
PM Imran Khan will also chair important sessions on official and party matters.
