Daren Sammy reaches Karachi for PSL 6

Daren Sammy said he is so excited to be the head coach of Peshawar Zalmi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Peshawar Zalmi head coach Daren Sammy has on Saturday reached Karachi for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The former West Indies captain said, “Assalam-o-Alaikum Pakistan! It’s good to be back here for PSL 6. Even though I won’t be playing, I am so excited to be the head coach of Peshawar Zalmi.

“My message is to continue being safe. We’re trying to fight this covid thing. Be safe, observe the protocols. It’s good to be back here and we will try to entertain you guys as usual.”

The PSL 6 will be held in Karachi and Lahore from February 20 to March 22. The tournament opener is scheduled between defending champions Karachi Kings and 2019 winners Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium Karachi.
