Several MG HS vehicles totaled in trailer crash near Daulatpur
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Around a dozen MG HS crossovers that had been imported to Pakistan were destroyed on Friday after the trailer carrying them veered off the national highway and crashed.
The trailer turned over to its side on a highway near the town of Daulatpur in Nawabshah district, with the loaded vehicles being thrown off in all directions.
According to motorway police, the trailer was on its way from Karachi to Lahore when it overturned, adding that no loss of life had been reported as a result of the accident.
MG HS is a 5-passenger crossover vehicle that rivals Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson. It has a 1.5 turbocharged engine and offers many features not offered in local cars. The vehicle is currently sold as a CBU and costs Rs 5.5 million.
