Bollywood stars react to Rihanna's tweet supporting Indian farmers

MUMBAI (Web Desk/AFP) – Many Bollywood celebrities have reacted to American singer Rihanna’s post on social-networking website showing support for protesting Indian farmers. Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has lauded Rihanna and shared a picture of her with her song Run This Town in the background.

Diljit also posted a Punjabi proverb on Twitter and wrote: "Jaat Di Kohr Kirli, Shateeriyan Nu Jaffe... (your status in life is rather insignificant but you know how to talk big)."

Meanwhile, actress Shibani Dandekar also expressed her support to the international singer’s tweet and appreciated her.

On the other hand, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut responded by calling the protesting farmers "terrorists" and Rihanna a "fool".

No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies. https://t.co/OIAD5Pa61a
