Justice (r) Azmat Saeed approved to head Broadsheet Inquiry Commission
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Cabinet on Tuesday approved the formation of an Inquiry Commission to investigate the Broadsheet scandal, headed by Justice (retd) Azmat Saeed.
According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the formation of a commission of inquiry to investigate the Broadsheet issue.
Justice (retd) Azmat Saeed will head the inquiry commission. The Inquiry Commission will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the Broadsheet case and submit its report to Prime Minister Imran Khan. It will be constituted under the Commission of Inquiry Act 2017.
Addressing the cabinet meeting, PM Imran Khan said that there would be no compromise against corruption and its perpetrators will be exposed. He vowed that no one would be spared in the Broadsheet investigation, as the matter was very sensitive and requires thorough investigation.
