SMIU founder Hassan Ali Effandi's grandson killed in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Zain Ali Effandi, grandson of Hassan Ali Effandi, founder of Sindh Madressatul Islam, was killed for resisting during a robbery in Karachi.
According to police, the incident took place last night at a house near People s Chowrangi where unidentified assailants entered the house with the intention of robbery and killed Zain Ali Effandi on resistance.
Police said that the accused also took valuables from the house while the deceased Zain Ali Effandi is the grandson of Hassan Ali Affandi, founder of Sindh Madressatul Islam.
Dunya News has obtained pictures of the accused, according to which the accused were wearing shalwar kameez and joggers and got out of the car outside the house.
According to police officials, five accused entered at the residence of Zain Effendi at 3:25am and remained in house for upto 55 minutes.
According to police, robbers killed Zain Effandi for resisting and tied worker with ropes.
Police officials said that the suspects involved in the incident belong to the White Corolla gang. On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and sought a report from the Additional IG.
