PM Imran tasks spokespersons to highlight corruption cases of opposition leaders

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday while deciding to give a befitting response to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) at every forum gave the party and government spokespersons task to highlight the corruption cases of the opposition leaders.
A meeting of party leaders was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which matters pertaining to the threats of global epidemic, its prevention and political situation of the country came under discussion.
The meeting decided that the opposition would be given full response in the Senate elections.
PM Imran Khan said that no society can move forward without accountability, adding that the process of accountability will continue. He said the incumbent government is on a journey of development.
The prime minister said that the government is not threatened by the PDM, adding that the PDM tried to play with people s lives during the epidemic. The whole opposition movement is for NRO which they will never get.
Directing the spokespersons to highlight the economic achievements, Imran Khan said that the weak economy was put on the right track and all economic indicators are in the right direction. The new year will focus on improving performance, he said.
On the occasion, he also tasked the spokespersons to highlight the corruption cases of the opposition leaders and said that when the accountability of the opposition started, everyone came together. “Past governments continue to plunder the national treasury,” he added.
