Karachi: One killed in generator explosion in scrap godown

Rescue teams have shifted the dead body to hospital for medico-legal report.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – One person was killed when a generator exploded in the scrap warehouse located in SITE area of Karachi on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a laborer was busy in dismantling a generator with a hammer when it suddenly exploded, killing him on the spot. The deceased was identified as 25-year-old Shafi. Rescue teams have shifted the dead body to hospital for medico-legal report.
Meanwhile, the bomb disposal squad in its initial report said that the explosion was caused by explosive material found in a pipe of the generator.
