PDM heads meet in Lahore to chalk out future strategy

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The heads of 11-party opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), have met in Lahore today (Friday) to chalk out future strategy, Dunya News reported.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief and president Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) Maulana Fazlur Rehman is presiding over the meeting which is being held at the residence of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra in Raiwind near Lahore.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Yousaf Raza Gillani, Qaumi Watan Party head Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao and others are attending the meeting. PPP chairman BilawalBhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari are participating in the session via video link.
The meeting is expected to discuss the proposed long march against the PTI government and date for submission of resignations of members of the National and Provincial Assemblies belonging to opposition parties.
The meeting is also likely to review the decisions taken by the PDM‘s string committee.
