Petrol price goes up by Rs2.31 for first half of Jan 2021

The price of diesel has been hiked to Rs110.24 per litre from the current price of Rs108.44
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government on Thursday increased the prices of all petroleum products by up to nearly Rs2.31 to share the impact of rising international prices with the consumers.
Prime Minister Imran Khan while rejecting the summary forwarded by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) seeking a surge of Rs10.68 per litre in petrol price raised the price of petrol to a whopping Rs2.31 to Rs106 per litre from the existing Rs103.69.
The prime minister has rejected Ogra’s suggestion to raise diesel prices by Rs8.37 per litre. The price of High Speed Diesel has been hiked to Rs110.24 per litre from the current price of Rs108.44, a jump of Rs1.80.
Meanwhile, the price of light diesel oil (LDO) has been pushed up by Rs3.95 and the Kerosene Oil (SKO) went up by Rs3.36.
