2021 brings a refreshing hope for the tech community
LAHORE (Web Desk) - 2020 saw some eye-popping technologies and gadgets loaded with the next-gen features despite coronavirus wreaking havoc on everything. And it proves that you can’t stop innovation.
2021 brings a refreshing hope for the tech community. So what gadgets should you be eyeing in the early part of next year to stay abreast with the dynamic times? Here are the best choices.
Samsung Galaxy S21
Samsung is expected to unveil its flagship Galaxy S21 series on January 14, 2021. There have been several leaks revealing the specifications and price of the next-gen series.
Before more than two weeks of its alleged release, the South Korean smartphone maker has opened pre-reservations of the devices in the US with discounts on the purchase of accessories.
OnePlus Smartwatch
OnePlus will finally be making a smartwatch in 2021, CEO Pete Lau has announced on Twitter, marking the first foray into wearable devices for the smartphone company. There’s not many details yet on the upcoming device, including what smartwatch OS it’ll run, a price, or even a firm release date — Lau only notes that it’ll be “released early next year.”
Nike Air Jordan XI Adapt Jumpman Shoes
A homage to the past and a nod to the future, the Nike Air Jordan XI Adapt Jumpman Shoes use power-lacing technology. Boasting a self-lacing design, these Air Jordans are still similar to the original shoe shape from 25 years ago.
They may look like a retro athletic shoe, but the Nike Air Jordan XI Adapt kicks are pretty futuristic. In fact, this footwear pairs with the Nike Adapt app, so you can personalize them to the max and control your shoes with real-time customization.
The next iPhone
Whether or not it will be called the iPhone 12s or XIIs or 13 or XIII or whatever, the biggest news by far is that Apple is apparently going to bring LTPO — low-temperature polycrystalline oxide— tech to its next flagships.
This is a big deal. In the simplest terms, LTPO panels help reduce power consumption by up to 20 per cent. It can also dynamically change refresh rates, allowing things from adjusting rates for low-key processes to the Apple Watch s always-on display. Samsung was the first to implement this tech on the Note20 and Z Fold2 this year.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
Samsung’s most technologically sorted earbuds are going to land soon and they’ll definitely be on the list to look forward to in early 2021 – Sony, Sennheiser, and Bose have their own iterations in works too. The buds will most probably launch alongside the highly anticipated Galaxy S21 series.
Based on the recent leaks and renders of the ANC earbuds, we can assume they’ll sound good and obviously have an ergonomic design for the wearer’s comfort.
