Pakistan begin training in Auckland ahead of New Zealand T20Is

The series opener is scheduled at the Eden Park on December 18.

AUCKLAND (Dunya News) – Pakistan have on Wednesday begun training sessions in Auckland ahead of their three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series against hosts New Zealand starting from December 18.

The players participated in batting, bowling and fielding drills. Pakistan skipper Shadab Khan – who will lead the Green Shirts in the T20I series as Babar Azam was ruled out due to injury – took part in net practice.

All-rounder Imad Wasim said the players had to work hard to regain form after quarantine and hoped that everyone will display good performance. The series opener is scheduled at the Eden Park. The T20I series will be followed by two Tests.
