ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) has on Monday raised questions over Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khurshid Shah’s assets while hearing his bail petition.

Justice Yahya, while inquiring about Khurshid Shah’s source of income, told his counsel Raza Rabbani to argue only if he can submit details of his client’s assets. Former opposition leader Khurshid Shah’s lawyer sought time from the top court for preparation in this regard.

While commenting on the PPP leader’s bail issue, Justice Mushir Alam said there is little margin of bail in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases as the larger bench of the apex court has already defined the rules of bail issuance.

The hearing was adjourned for indefinite time.
