Rain in Lahore and other parts of the country turns weather cold

Met Office has predicted more rain in Potohar region, upper KP, Kashmir and GB during next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Intermittent rain in most parts of the country including Lahore and its adjacent areas on Friday turned the weather cold, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Bahawalnagar, Chiniot, Muridke, Kasur and Mirpur, Ahmadpur East, Och Sharif, Rojhan, Pakpattan, Vehari, Mian Channu, Sangla Hill, Khanpur, Jhang, Chishtian, Renala, Kasur, Narowal, Zafarwal and Klorekot.
Meanwhile snowfall in mountainous areas of Murree, Galyat, Ayubia, Nathia Gali and Changla Gali was a delight for weekend tourists. Dozens of tourist vehicles were also trapped in Galyat due to heavy snowfall.
According to Met Office, a deep westerly wave is present over central and upper parts of the country and likely to persist in upper parts on Saturday. Cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours while, very cold in North Balochistan.
Met Office said more rain-thunderstorm (snowfall over the hills) is expected in Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) during next 24 hours. Fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and Upper Sindh during morning hours.
