PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has passed the School Bags Weight Limitation Bill 2020. Under the bill, the weight of the bag will be determined separately for each class.

In the draft of the proposed law, it was proposed to keep the weight of school bags for second to fifth grade from 2.5 to 5.3 kg.

It was suggested to keep the weight of school bags from 5.4 to 6.5 kg from sixth to tenth class.

Similarly, 11th and 12th class school bags were proposed to weigh 7kg.
