RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Monday that corruption and drugs are destructive for society and the money made through these illicit activities was used to win elections in the past.

The premier visited the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) headquarters in Rawalpindi and said while addressing a ceremony that we have to work against drug peddlers as the previous governments did not do anything to eliminate this evil.

“We have to save our youth from drugs. Seven million people in Pakistan are drug addicts. The entire family is ruined in which there is only one drug addict. This menace is also spreading at educational institutions.

“Those who earn money through drugs and corruption are unacceptable in society. I want the entire society to fight together against corruption and drugs.”
