Public wants development in the country: Usman Buzdar
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that only agenda of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is to block journey towards growth.
CM Usman Buzdar, in a meeting with members of the assembly said that public wants development in the country but unfortunately, opposition gives no importance to national interests.
During the meeting, development projects and other facilities for people of Lahore were discussed. The elected representatives forwarded their recommendations and thanked Usman Buzdar for announcing mega-projects for the metropolis.
Usman Buzdar assured that government will take every possible step for solving issues and urged the PTI members to maintain close contact with public and leave no stone unturned in their efforts to provide relief to residents of Lahore.
No illegal gathering will be allowed amid coronavirus second wave: CM Buzdar
Later, Usman Buzdar, while referring to opposition rallies said that no illegal activities will be allowed amid current situation of novel coronavirus outbreak and only gathering in limited numbers with strict implementation of coronavirus SOPs will be allowed.
He, while talking to media persons, said that the precautionary measures are a must under current circumstances but the manner in which opposition is holding rallies cannot be seen anywhere in the world.
He reiterated that protection of lives and property of public is responsibility of the government.
