Man throws own five children into canal

Ibrahim was unable to find work from last week

KASUR (Dunya News) – A man reportedly facing severe financial problems threw his five young children into the canal on Saturday, police said.

Kasur police have arrested the accused father Ibrahim and are investigating into the incident.

Ibrahim, who is a daily wager was unable to find work from last week. He had no resources to buy flour from last two days and when his wife asked him to buy some groceries, Ibrahim took his children with him and threw them into a canal.

According to eye witnesses, the father was weeping for some time before pushing his kids.
