TI, WEF have lauded Pak's efforts in eliminating corruption: NAB chief

Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that NAB is determined to eliminate corruption from Pakistan.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Friday has presided over a key session to discuss progress in corruption references.

During the meeting, the NAB chief said that Transparency International (TI) and World Economic Forum (WEF) have lauded the efforts of Pakistan’s anti-corruption watchdog.

NAB has recovered Rs466 billion looted money from the corrupt elements, he told.

Justice (r) Javed Iqbal further said that NAB is determined to eliminate corruption from Pakistan.
