President Alvi promptly deletes condolence tweet about Mir Zafarullah Jamali
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - President Arif Alvi on Twitter issued a clarification regarding the health of former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, right after a tweet about his passing, which was promptly deleted.
In the second tweet, the President clarified the reason behind the deletion of the tweet, saying that former Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was alive and currently on a ventilator.
President Arif Alvi said that he has deleted the previous tweet, which was based on false information and also apologized to former PM’s family.
The President said that he had spoken to his son, Omar Jamali, who informed him that Zafarullah Jamali was currently on a ventilator. The President prayed for his health and swift recovery.
