Will not leave without holding PDM rally in Multan: Fazal-ur-Rehman

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief Fazal-ul-Rehman has said that the opposition parties will not leave without holding the scheduled rally in Multan.

Fazal-ur-Rehman left from his son’s residence in Multan to Jamia Qasim Ul Uloom and from there he will reach Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh – the rally’s venue. PDM workers entered the stadium after breaking locks of its gates.

On the other hand, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill has said that the Government of Punjab has directed concerned officials to remove all obstacles put on road to stop the PDM rally.

The prime minister’s aide said that concerned officials have been directed to not stop any worker or leader of opposition parties arriving to attend the PDM rally in Multan.

Furthermore, Former Prime Minister (PM) Benazir Bhutto and ex-President Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Aseefa Bhutto Zardari will make her political debut with a speech at the PDM rally.

According to details, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader will lead a caravan from Gillani House to Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh for power show of the opposition parties.

Aseefa Bhutto is scheduled to address the rally while representing her party chairman Bilawal Bhutto, who will also speak to the participants via video link as he is in isolation after being tested positive for coronavirus.
