11 killed, several injured as van, mini truck overturned in Pano Aqil
PANO AQIL (Dunya News) - At least 11 people including children were killed and several others were injured in a traffic accident on the national highway in Pano Aqil.
According to details, a horrific accident took place at Sanghi National Highway in Panu Aqil where a passenger van and a mini truck overturned while overtaking.
According to rescue sources, 11 people were killed on the spot. The passenger van was going to Karachi from Khanewal in Punjab.
The dead include four women and seven children. They are said to belong to the same Christian community. The injured have been shifted to Civil Hospital, including children.
Rescue teams rushed all the deceased to nearest Hospital in Pano Aqil, bodies will be handed over to their families and sent to their respective areas.
