Fire breaks out at warehouse in Karachi

Valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes due to fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire erupted at an old clothes godown located near the Sher Shah Graveyard in Karachi on late Monday night which engulfed the entire building very quickly, Dunya News reported.
Four fire brigade vehicles and two bowzers arrived at the scene after being informed and launched operation. The fire tenders managed to contain the blaze from further spread.
Fire brigade officials said that the blaze has badly damaged the warehouse. No casualty was reported in the inferno however, valuables worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes due to fire.
In another incident, fire broke out at a flat in a six storey building in Guzri area of Karachi on Monday. Three fire brigade vehicles and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
Rescue sources said that the case of fire is not yet known. No casualty was reported in the fire.
