Eight killed, 20 injured in road mishap in Pindi Bhattian

PINDI BHATTIAN (Dunya News) – At least eight persons were killed and 20 other were wounded, 10 of them seriously, in a road accident at Hafizabad Road in Pindi Bhattian on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, a passenger bus while overtaking a truck at the Hafizabad Road collided with a tractor trolley, killing eight persons on the spot and injuring 20 other.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. Rescue sources said that 10 seriously injured persons were later referred to Allied Hospital, Gaisalabad.
Separately, two persons were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a bus in Sahiwal. Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies to hospital.
