Hard decisions on the cards if SOPs not followed: CM
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar while expressing grave concern said that citizens are not taking precautions despite the second wave of Coronavirus. Precautions for health and life should not be missed.
A statement issued by Usman Buzdar said that with the rise of Coronavirus, the death rate is also increasing but despite this, violations of SOPs are being witnessed.
He said that if precautionary measures were not taken then more tough decisions would have to be taken. The public is urged to exercise caution and responsibility.
He said that the number of active patients of Coronavirus in Punjab has reached 6556.
CM said that during the last 24 hours, 369 confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab province and 8 patients died. During this time 10802 Coronavirus diagnostic tests were performed.
Usman Buzdar said that 1670914 tests of Coronavirus have been conducted in Punjab so far. Out of 106577 patients of Coronavirus, 97614 patients have recovered while 2407 patients of Coronavirus have died in Punjab.
