Usman Buzdar rejects proposal seeking increase in recreation spots' entrance fee
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has rejected a proposal seeking an increase in the entrance fee of various historical spots and parks. The department had suggested revising the entry fee.
A meeting of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Finance and Development was held on the direction of CM Punjab, in which the proposal to revise the entrance fee of historical places and parks was rejected. The Standing Committee did approve a grant of Rs 155 million for WASA Faisalabad during the meeting.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that no burden will be placed on the public, the decision to not increase entry fees has been taken in the wider public interest.
