Two accused killed in alleged police encounter in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Two accused in robbery were killed in an alleged police encounter in Sikhan Labor Square area of Karachi.

According to SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur, two accused were killed in Sikhan Labor Square area of Karachi.

According to details, both the accused were looting people, weapons, looted money and a motorcycle were recovered from the accused. The process of identifying the suspects is underway.

On the other hand, the Special Investigation Unit has arrested a four-member extortionist group. The accused had demanded extortion from the president of Mohalla Committee Faqir Goth.

According to SSP Haider Raza, the accused had received Rs700,000 as extortion money and were demanding more money.

They were also threatening if the extortion money not paid. During the interrogation, the arrested accused have revealed six more accused in the gang. The arrested suspects include gang leader Rauf alias Commando and others.
