102-year-old Oklahoma woman recovers from coronavirus
TULSA (Web Desk) - A 102-year-old Oklahoma woman has recovered from coronavirus and been discharged from the hospital.
Della Hathorne was described by hospital staff as “spunky” and “a true fighter.”
Hathorne was discharged Wednesday from Mercy Hospital Logan County after 12 days of treatment.
“During these unprecedented times, the fact that we get to send a 102-year-old woman home who survived a COVID-19 infection as severe as hers is one of those moments we all should celebrate,” Mercy Dr. Daniel Pascucci said in a news release.
Hathorne was treated with Remdesivir.
