Maulana Adil murder case: Police recommend Rs5 million reward for information
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi police has recommended Sindh Home Department Rs5 million reward for information on accused involved in the murder of Maulana Muhammad Adil Khan.
According to details, the investigation into the murder case of Maulana Adil Khan, the superintendent of Farooqia University, has been slow. Even four days after the incident, the culprits could not be traced.
The accused were allegedly seen in CCTV footage before Maulana Adil s arrival at Korangi Darul Uloom.
Police officials have now sought the help of citizens to arrest the culprits. Police officials have recommended a reward for information leading to the arrest of the killers.
Police officials said that the Sindh government should set a reward of Rs5 million. The decision will be taken by the Sindh Home Department after the approval of the Sindh Chief Minister.
On the other hand, CCTV footage before the attack has emerged. In the footage, the accused were seen around Darul Uloom during the arrival of Maulana Adil.
Before the attack, the accused pursued Maulana Adil as he was coming. The accused pretend to have a motorcycle malfunction and came from the opposite direction. The suspects on motorcycles were wearing black and green Shalwar Kameez.
