Pillion riding ban lifted in Karachi

Sindh Home Department on Sunday had issued a notification to ban pillion riding for one month.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pillion riding ban imposed in Karachi for a period on one month due to deteriorating law and order situation was lifted after just 12 hours, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, Sindh Home Department on the recommendation of Additional IG Karachi had issued a notification to ban pillion riding for one month. The decision was taken due to worsening law and order situation in the city.
However, the Sindh Home Department withdrew its earlier notification and issued a fresh notification to lift the ban imposed on pillion riding in the city.
