Stock market rises by 728 points in one week
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange 100-Index increased by 728 points in one week, closing at 40,798 points at the end of the trading week.
The stock market witnessed a mixed trend during the week, with the 100 index declining at the beginning of the trading week but recovering towards the end.
In one week, the market capitalization increased by Rs 64 billion. Moreover, mutual funds sold shares worth $2.67 million and individual investors sold shares worth $5.7 million.
Meanwhile, the insurance sector and banks did buying of $5.5 million and $4.69 million respectively.
