Wishes, prayers pour in as US President Trump, First Lady test positive for covid

(Web Desk) – Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of the World Health Organization, on Friday wished Donald Trump a speedy recovery after the US president and his wife Melania caught Covid-19. In a tweet, Tedros wished the couple "a full and speedy recovery". Trump is pulling the United States out of the WHO, accusing it of mishandling the coronavirus pandemic and being too close to China.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who had his own brush with death from Covid-19 this year, wished US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump a rapid recovery.

"My best wishes to President Trump and the First Lady. Hope they both have a speedy recovery from coronavirus," Johnson tweeted. Pakistani PM Imran has prayed for early recovery of United States President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump from coronavirus.

The premier took to social-networking website Twitter and posted, “Wishing President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump speedy recovery from COVID-19.” Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Donald Trump a quick recovery after the US president revealed he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. "Wishing my friend @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and @FLOTUS a quick recovery and good health," Modi said on Twitter.
