Even money laundering laws cannot stop the powerful: PM
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that even the country’s money laundering laws cannot nab the powerful because policies in Pakistan were tailor-made for the elite class.
The Prime Minister expressed these views while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Wednesday. He said that different education systems for different classes is an obstacle in our development. Our vision is to uplift the poor and pay special attention to the development of backward areas, he added.
The Prime Minister said that after the 60’s, policies were formulated for the elite class only due to which we could not prosper, even the education and health systems were badly affected.
He said that our future is a Digital Pakistan; we will improve connectivity through expansion of 4G and 5G infrastructure, develop IT sector to improve exports and introduce virtual education in remote areas of the country.
In his address, Imran Khan said that lesser opportunities of justice and development leave a lasting impact on society and we must strive to address it. He said now through connectivity, there will be immense opportunities for the downtrodden.
